About Me
Gopala Krishna Pemmaraju is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 30 years of clinical experience in orthopaedic surgery. He specialises in hip and knee surgery, with particular expertise in joint replacement, lower limb arthroplasty, and advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) knee procedures. His primary focus is on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and improving patients’ quality of life through modern surgical techniques.
He holds respected professional qualifications including MBBS, FRCS, FRCS (Tr & Orth), Dip SICOT (Orth), MSc (Trauma), and is a member of the General Medical Council (GMC), British Orthopaedic Association, and the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons
He completed his orthopaedic training in the West Midlands under leading orthopaedic specialists and received international recognition by earning the prestigious German Travelling Fellowship after achieving the highest mark in the Dip. SICOT orthopaedic examination. He currently practises at Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital and the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust, where he is known for his patient-centred approach, clear communication, and commitment to high-quality care.
